A Queue for the Phantom
A series of limited edition art prints of various sizes of Her Majesty’s Theatre London, where another performance of the legendary show Phantom of the Opera is soon to start.
In this painting I have tried to capture the majesty of this amazing building, lit by well placed flood lights to enhance the architecture.
The buzz and excitement of the audience, who queue outside the theatre is detailed as underlining the atmosphere of the evening. A full moon adds the composition, the reflection of which can be seen on the rooftops. The Phantom himself could almost be there!
