The Scott Memorial at Sunset
I remember being taking for a boat ride on Roath Park lake way back in the 80s! Such a memorable experience. I wanted to capture those memories in this lovely and vibrant painting.
In this work it is late evening in May; the sun has just set and the lights of the Scott Memorial at Roath Park have just been switched on. A crescent new moon has just come out, with the outline of the trees of Roath Park silhouetted against the orange glow of the sunset.
