Alun Wyn in Victory
This is a portrait of one of the recent legends of Welsh rugby, captured here in an ecstatic pose. The look of victory!
Alun was named as captain for the Welsh squad for the 2017 Six Nations following Sam Warburton. After selection for his third British and Irish Lions tour, he became one of only 7 Lions players to have beaten South Africa, NZ and Australia, while touring these countries! In 2019 Jones captained Wales in their Grand Slam victory and was named Player of the Championship.
Alun was referred to by many as “the greatest ever” Welsh rugby player. I hope my portrait does him justice.
